| yay for the end of the halloween bullcrap at work. Can't wait for the season to be over, we get to start putting up Christmas stuff now :) I love christmas, thank god.
Brian informed me yesterday that they're keeping me on after halloween :) Which is always good. Extra money in my pocket none the less. Hope everyone is doing well.. I haven't had much time to talk to anyone :(

| just a quick update...
been working 8 hour days the last 4 days or so, today is my last 8 hour day and then I have 2 days off so hopefully then I can get back to people and actually have time to chit chat, I hope everyone is doing well.
Work is good, the days are just really long but its not a hard job. Anyhow, I have to think about getting out of here.. I'll talk to you all later |

| The sword...
I saw the most amazing sword today, I have no idea why but for some reason it really got my attention.
It was an all black katana, full sized and I actually think it was a little longer than my biggest one. The handle was long enough for someone to use a two handed grip and still have a decent amount of space between his hands. The blade was completely hand forged, the wavy pattern down the blade showed this. Due to the mud they used down the edge to cool it.
I asked the woman to see it, and I could tell she was reluctant to hand it to me considering the price tag on it was 400 dollars and some change. I took it from her very carefully and quickly pulled it from its sheath. It flew out quite smoothly and I think I scared the girl at the counter because she jumped when I did it, looking a little scared since I actually knew how to handle it.
I could tell the edge was razor sharp and I didn't dare touch it.
The handle was a creamy ivory color beneath the black leather they used to wrap it with a small gold accent towards its center. The guard was made of solid steel and painted black. The design inside it was intricate and uniquely ornate.
I find beauty in the strangest things... I want that damn sword lol
